Laptop in Heat

I don't know what's wrong with my laptop lately. Even leaving it on for at least 30 minutes or an hour it gets very hot. I should probably take this to a computer repair shop to get this check up. I probably been using this computer too much? Maybe before when I wasn't working a few months back then. Well right now I use this baby at night when I came home and play this addictive facebook game Farm Town. I have got to control myself overplaying this game but sometimes it's just too addictive that I couldn't get enough of it.
