I finally arrived in Denver International Airport (DIA) an hour early thankfully.
I was very grateful to my good friend MJ, she is very kind to pick me up at the airport. I was very frustrated because I don't have driver's license with me and I have biometrics appointment in a few hours.
So, MJ and I drove all the way to Westminster, CO in order for me to get a temporary license because I couldn't pick up my rental car if I don't have driver's license. After I got my temporary driver's license, MJ and I drove to the rental car location to pick-up the car I rented.
I only have less than an hour to get to the the USCIS (United States Citizenship Immigration Services). Thankfully I got there though I was about 5 minutes late because of my technology difficulty, the important thing is I got my biometrics.
The office wasn't that busy and it only took them less than 15-minutes to get my finger printing done. Of course I informed the officer that I recently moved to another state, in California. She adviced to me to call the USCIS 800 number to officially change my address.
After we were done she gave my the civics booklet with CD for me to study for my naturalization test.
What a relieve that they didn't gave me a hard time that I don't have my driver's license with me and only had the the temporary copy, passport and the appointment letter.
After the immigration I am going to be spending my vacation week with my friends.

Hello Irene,
Saw your blog in ramdom & read it...would you mind me askin' regardin' your application for Citizenship as I also have a friend in US who I know is getting her Citizenship soon.
I read that in order to have Citizenship you have to be a Permanent Resident first for 3 or more yrs. in US...in one of your blog (Places Must See) I read you were sayin' that you came to US just last January 27, 2007, how come you're able to apply for Citizenship when its like you've just stayed there for more than a year? The information you’ve provided is kind of contradicting to what I’ve read in the website. Any advice will be greatly appreciated so I can let my friend know how you did it too.
Thanks in advance.
Pardon the error. I arrived here in the US las Year 2003 of January (error corrected). Yes you are right that in order for your friend to get her citizenship she needs to be a Permanent Resident for three or more years if she is married to an American Citizen and didn't stay out of the country for more than 6-months straight.
thank you for responding, now that makes sense. congratulations of you becoming a citizen.
