Missing My Family In the Philippines

It's almost 3Am in the morning PST. I am still fully awake, I tried to call my mother's cellphone but I had connection trouble. So, I waited for a little while and gave her a call again. After a few tries in about 20 minutes I finally get of hold with my mom. She went to the city to pay her electric bills. A month ago they were asking me to buy them a computer because globe is finally have an Internet connection where they live. I thought that it might be better if I am going to buy the computer here in the US and ship it to them through the balikbayan box because it would cause me a bit less. After I put effort thinking about the alternative way to get them a computer it also made me think that it may also be better if the computer is purchased in Ormoc. I balanced the pros and cons and finally decided that they are going to buy the computer set through a friend of mine in Ormoc who sell computers and its accessories. I payed Php 30, 970.00 which includes CPU, Monitor, Printer as well as the Computer Table and Chair.

I thought this deal is pretty good, plus they also provide 1-year warranty just in case the computer breaks down or maybe "hopefully not" infected with virus.

Mom and I spoke for a little while about other things and current events here.

We have to continue our discussion again because I only have a few minutes left with my yahoo voice balance.
